MLO 6: Information and Technology Literacy
The student demonstrates an ability to use technology in support of his or her scholarly work, including gathering, organizing and analyzing sources and employing appropriate delivery techniques in both written and oral formats.
The courses that I have completed to meet this MLO include WLC 300 and WLC 400. WLC 300 was an introductory course for the students to learn about how their upper division work would be like. During this class we had various visits from different guest who taught us how to use the technology resources available to us. We had library researchers come in and talk about the online library website and how to use it. We got a chance to learn how to narrow down our search. We also had Gus come in and help us build this portfolio. In WLC 400 we have gotten the opportunity to keep working on our portfolio’s and pushed us to use the library website.
